Start with the cot set at a higher base position, with high side and end rails. As your child grows and begins to stand up, you can lower the base.

Over time, your child will be able to climb in and out of the cot independently – at that point, you can remove the first rail, and later the others. By adding the “Junior” extension kit, you can quickly and easily transform the charming baby cot into a beautiful “Junior” bed. These elements are sold separately.

Ensure optimal comfort and ventilation for your child by choosing a mattress designed to fit the oval shape of the Leander Classic™ cot. Also consider dedicated textiles – beautiful accessories in matching colors that make the cot even cozier – cot bumpers, bedding and fitted sheets.

The Leander Classic™ cot is made of molded beech wood. The color is lacquered onto the wood. This means that in some cases, the natural wood grain may be visible through the lacquer.
