One of the many advantages of the MiniMeis baby carrier is that it can be used for many years. The carrier is intended for children from 6 months to 4 years of age. But each child is different and has different needs. As with a highchair, your baby should be able to sit upright without support before sitting in the MiniMeis. The child must be able to hold his head up. For the youngest users (from approx. 6 - 10 months), the included shoulder strap can serve as additional support for the upper body.
By registering your MiniMeis products on the official website - MiniMeis, you will receive an additional year of warranty up to 2 years from the date of purchase.
Minimeis is tested according to the European standard EN-13209-1:2044 and the American standard ASTM F 2549 14a for frame carriers. The carrier has been tested to the established standard of 18 kg.
The product was designed by fathers based on male anatomy. Many mothers fall in love with the carrier, others do not feel comfortable with it. The size and shape of women's breasts naturally vary more than men's. Our advice for women (or men) with a large chest area: When attaching the MiniMeis to your body, tighten the side straps tightly and leave the chest strap untight. If the carrier is still not comfortable, release the chest strap. Both side straps must remain connected and taut. This way you won't put any pressure on your chest while the MiniMeis will still fit snugly to your torso.
Yes! MiniMeis has been tested for several years and the security element has always been the most important element during development. The MiniMeis baby carrier has been tested and approved to both the European standard EN-13209-1:2044 and the American standard ASTM F 2549 14a. This is one of the safest baby carriers on the market. Because the MiniMeis is not a free-hanging carrier, the restraint and weight distribution system is less susceptible to material fatigue due to gravity than with conventional carriers. During use, the child is not placed in unnatural positions, but sits in a natural position, safely placed on the parent's shoulders. The baby's weight is evenly distributed over the carrier's body, which allows parents to maintain the natural human balance during active use. The leg straps replace the traditional handle when worn over the shoulder and secure your child's legs to the harness. The backrest prevents the child from falling backwards, and the adult's head prevents the child from falling forward. The lap belt provides additional safety.
For our smallest users (approx. 6 – 10 months), MiniMeis has an optional shoulder strap that can serve as additional support and security. Thanks to this belt, the child is secured with a patented 9-point harness. Find out more in our beginner's guide. MiniMeis G4 is equipped with a patented weight distribution system that allows the child to sit on a raised support, avoiding direct pressure on the adult's neck, shoulders and collarbone. The only concern for parents is to be aware of obstructions above the head, which would also be the case if carrying the baby on the shoulders without the MiniMeis.
