Natural, safe pink noise

Why pink noise? Babies in the womb are surrounded by low-frequency sounds. Pink noise mimics these conditions – low tones dominate, while high-frequency sound energy is reduced to a level safe for infants, which distinguishes it from white noise.

The MOONIE teddy uses authentic recordings of natural pink noise, not computer-generated sounds. These include a real recording of a heartbeat from inside the mother’s womb, helping the baby calm down with a familiar sound, as well as Baltic Sea waves and a forest stream. These sounds effectively mask environmental noise, making it easier for your baby to fall asleep peacefully.

Soothing music and volume control

In addition to pink noise, MOONIE plays a gentle lullaby composed on a kalimba and two classical pieces by Claude Debussy (“Clair de Lune”, “Rêverie”), which further calm and relax. The module features volume control, allowing you to perfectly adjust the sound level to your baby’s needs and the surrounding environment.

Night light – support for both parent and child

The teddy’s belly hides a gentle LED night light available in 7 different shades, which does not heat up and is completely safe. Its subtle glow allows nighttime feeding or diaper changes without turning on the main light, which could wake the baby. Importantly, when the baby starts crying, the light turns on together with the sound, illuminating and soothing the baby, helping them fall back asleep.

MOONIE is also suitable for older children who are afraid of the dark. You can turn on just the light (without sound) and leave it on all night, providing a sense of security. Additionally, the light can be activated by movement – simply shake the toy.

Smart Cry Sensor and timer

The built-in cry sensor watches over your baby’s sleep. When the baby starts crying, MOONIE automatically activates the last selected pink noise. The device allows easy selection of sound playback time (30, 60, or 90 minutes), after which it enters a 3-hour standby mode. If crying is detected again during this time, the sound will restart for another 20 minutes.

Convenient USB-C charging

Forget about replacing batteries in the middle of the night. The MOONIE module is charged via a USB-C cable (included) and is ready to use right out of the box. A full charge takes 3 hours and provides up to 8 hours of continuous operation. This solution is not only convenient and cost-effective but also environmentally friendly, eliminating the need for disposable batteries.

Voice recording function

MOONIE 2.0 allows you to record your own voice directly onto the module without removing it. Parents can record soothing words or a lullaby to provide a sense of closeness. Older children can also use this feature for creative play.

Certified organic cotton

Safety and softness are a priority. The MOONIE teddy is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, sourced from European organic farms where no pesticides or toxic fertilizers are used. The dyes are non-toxic. The material is exceptionally soft and safe for a newborn’s sensitive skin.
