BabyDan Flex M StepFree is a wide and flexible wall-mounted safety gate designed to secure different areas of your home. It can be used as a fireplace guard, room divider or to restrict access to stairs, doorways and other areas that may not be safe for a child.
The StepFree version features a flat threshold positioned at floor level in the gate section. This solution reduces the risk of tripping and makes everyday passage through the gate more comfortable – especially when carrying a child, laundry or shopping bags. The flat threshold also makes it easier for robot vacuum cleaners to move between rooms.
The gate can be opened in both directions and operated with one hand. The configuration can also be extended using small and large extension sections available separately.

BabyDan Flex M StepFree is an excellent solution for use as a fireplace guard and for securing other areas of the home that should remain inaccessible to a child. Its flexible design allows the gate to be adapted to large and non-standard spaces.

Care instructions
Clean the gate using warm soapy water or a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning products or bleach. If used outdoors, exposed metal parts should be treated with an anti-corrosion product. Despite such protection, slight corrosion may still occur.
Safe use near a fireplace
If the gate is used as a fireplace guard, it should be positioned at least 75 cm away from the heat source or fire and at least 90 cm away from an open flame.
Every fireplace and wood-burning stove may reach a different temperature, so the distances provided should be treated as guidelines. Before positioning the gate, check the heat source while operating at maximum power. If the gate becomes hot to the touch, move it further away from the heat source.
If it is not possible to maintain the recommended distances, the configuration can be extended using additional sections available separately.
